momlatte41
I have RA for many years... I have also been gluten/dairy/corn/processed food free for a few years now.. I take only homeopathic meds for my RA... It is manageable doing all of this.. Anti-inflammatory lifestyle... The change of seasons are usually pretty rough on me though.. I discovered Paleo a few months ago. I have been on the WHOLE 30 for about 40 days now... The reason for this post is b/c even with ALL of this MY BODY STILL HURTS... My left hand has pins and needles in it, my neck/scalp is sore, knees a bit swollen... I am just frustrated... I do 1000% believe in this lifestyle! ANY help, advise.... would be greatly appreciated... I believe in this so much I have even gotten other people on board... also argue w/ kids about it:) (14,16,17) tx.... momlatte
nutmegananne
Have you tried the Autoimmune protocol? You also take out nuts, eggs, and nightshades (tomatoes, peppers, eggplants) for 30 days. If this improves your symptoms, then you slowly add them back in to test which ones you can tolerate. This site has a wonderful wealth of info about it: http://www.thepaleomom.com/the-autoimmune-protocol-aip
