BamaRama
I can't find ANY compliant chicken stock out there and don't really have the capability to make my own at this point. Help!
Bella Cat
Hi, BamaRama....I make my own chicken stock. Infinitely better than anything I could buy...plus, I know what went into it. If I roast a whole chicken, I make carcass stock right after dinner. However, generally, I save bones and then make it on a Sunday afternoon. BamaRama
Shoot, great idea thank you, unfortunately I don't have the capability to make stock at the moment... Kinda on a weird kitchen sharing scenario with little dishes. Only have a shallow saucepan. So. Any store brands anyone knows of?
kruddock
I haven't been able to find compliant chicken stock, so until you can make your own, I would use vegetable broth, it is the only one I have been able to find in BC. I use pacific organic vegetable broth but make sure you still check the label and watch out for caramel coloring, it is a no-go.
Lo@YYC
I am in Calgary and can't find compliant store-bought chicken or veggie broth either! Only beef. So, I made my own, as others are saying. Any chance you could borrow a friend's kitchen to make some?
