Sweet Potato
I started my first Whole30 today and I'm really excited about it. I have a question about coconut milk- every brand I've looked at so far has carrageenen listed in the ingredients.. is there coconut milk available that doesn't have carrageenen (or added sugars, etc.)? Andrea D.
I use Native Forest brand...are you looking at the coconut milk in cans or cartons? The coconut milk in the cartons have quite a few additives so for W30 you should stick to the canned coconut milk. The only ingredients should be coconut, water and guar gum (it's hard to find it without it).
Sweet Potato
I didn't see any canned coconut milk at the store I was in today, I'll have to keep a look out for it! Thank you.
MtnRunner
Andrea D, Where would canned coconut milk be in the store? I see you are in COS, I'm up in Woodland Park, stay warm!
onemilemom
I get canned coconut milk in the "Asian Foods" section of my store. There are several brands, but I've bought Thai Kitchen and Golden Star before neither one of those has any additives. Not really sure if one particular brand is better than another.
