KbA
Started day 2 with a breakfast of organic eggs scrambled with leftover sockeye salmon and scallions. Yum! I just finished making mayonnaise. Let's face it, the taste and texture are far superior to commercial concoctions. I actually found chicken Italian sausage with no added sugar or nitrates, so I'm planning to use it for dinner tonight. The only result from yesterday's food choices is having to get up in the middle of the night to pee. I've obviously been retaining some extra fluid. ☺️ There's no doubt that I'm experiencing a "beginner's high". Here's to sustaining it.
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted August 2, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 2, 2016 with no added sugar or nitrates, Congratulations on a strong start! I just wanted to point out that nitrites and nitrates are actually okay for Whole30. You might want to review the common additives cheat sheet to be sure you've got the rules straight.
