Savii Posted August 11, 2016 Share Posted August 11, 2016 Hello! I am in need of a doctor in either the Dallas, TX area or Sarasota, FL area. I have Hashimotos and PCOS, and I have been under the care of an MD who just told me, "I think you should look elsewhere Im not sure what to do anymore". I am 24 years old, athletic, but have a thyroid and hormone values of someone who should not be as functional as I am ha. Karen Posted August 12, 2016 Share Posted August 12, 2016 In my experience, endos aren't great at really managing thyroid stuff. Most in my experience rely on labs and ignore symptoms. I'm sure there are exceptions. Try searching for integrative or functional docs. If you go to the certifying organizations website, they'll often list doctors by region.
