SuzanneG
I'm new to this forum, and gearing up to start my Whole30 next week. I'm confused when reading about coconut milk as a dairy substitute. I'm familiar with both the canned coconut milk for use in cooking and the milk substitute products like Silk Coconut milk. Which are we referring to when we are talkng about coconut milk, in the context of Whole30. I'm a little leery of the dairy substitute kind, I think it contains cane sugar, and sounds pretty processed. Thoughts?
jmcbn
Always read your labels. It will generally be the canned variety of coconut milk you're looking for, but even some of those can have off limit ingredients such as carageenan in them.
