MARTHALEE Posted June 19, 2017 Share Posted June 19, 2017 We are having a heat wave here in Northern CA. My huge jar of coconut oil that I keep on my counter and stays solid is totally melted! I don;t think it got higher than about 82 inside my house, but.... Has this happened to others? Is it OK? When I put it in the fridge, it turns into a hard rock. Suggestions? This is totally normal... no biggie... if you prefer it hard, put it in the fridge... if you don't care, use a spoon to scoop it till the temp goes down a bit... coconut oil has a low melting point... carry on Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
