It has oodles of health benefits, although, after reading the It Starts With Food, I guess it has to do with how receptive your body is / how accessible the nutrients are. Anyway, what's the verdict? Moderators Tom Denham Posted November 28, 2012 Moderators Share Posted November 28, 2012 Wheatgrass is not superior to other vegetables, but it does have a more active marketing department than broccoli, kale, collards, etc. Wikipedia says it does not include gluten, but I'm not willing to make the call on this one. The plant matter part of wheat isn't problematic - all the potentially nasty stuff is concentrated in the seed. So wheat grass is A-OK on the program.
