diedrap
I completed a Whole 30 program in September. Since then, I have stayed gluten, grain, dairy, night shade, soy free. I had added in honey and maple syrup. Two weeks ago, I ate a small plate of pasta. Now, I am experiencing a serious flare. I have rhuematoid arthritis and Hashimoto thyroiditis. I am searching for advice for how to get my system back under control. Needless to say, I understand my body cannot tolerate cheats. But, how do I get back to baseline? Robin Strathdee
diedrap - So sorry to hear that! It's a crappy lesson to learn. All you can do at this point is stay squeaky clean and wait for things to settle. Avoid nuts if you can, as those tend to be inflammatory.
Dawn Fralix Hall
Diedrap - I also have RA & Hashimoto's. I had most of my thyroid removed and a gastric sleeve last December. I am starting a Whole30 tomorrow. My friend introduced me to it after hearing my complaints of struggling for several months to get my medications balanced correctly. I would be interested in talking more with you on what things you have found to be inflammatory. Dawn
