Sehart497
I am on day 12 of my whole 30. I am absolutely loving it!!! I feel amazing! I want to continue and feel very motivated. I found out on day 4 I will be having surgery on this coming Monday. I’m trying to decide about how to continue my whole 30 journey while recovering. I am worried that with minimal eating I will want things like crackers, ginger ale, and toast. Should I wait until to end of recovery and restart or do you have suggestions of food to eat while recovering to help with nausea? Thanks!
Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted January 17, 2018 Moderators Share Posted January 17, 2018 Good luck on your surgery. Eating Whole30 should be really helpful with your recovery. sparkling water (try a splash or two of kombucha in it) water, coconut oil, carb dense vegetables like sweet potatoes, and bone broth Silky Gingered Zucchini Soup Comfort Noodles Scrambled eggs (remove from the pan when still a wee bit "wet" - they will finish cooking, but remain soft and wonderful) Here's a great article on WHole30 when sick: https://whole30.com/2017/10/cold-flu/
