Psalms96:6
Hello, I'm new to this forum and new to Whole30! My work out buddy and I are starting the Whole30 on January 4th and I would like to know how to prepare this week. What do you recommend that gives the best results? What has worked best for you? What food did you eat/cook/buy the most? I'm 19yo, 5' 2' and 40lbs overweight. I've worked out 3-5x a week for the past 2 years and I really hope to get results after this so it encourages to continue this lifestyle!! Thank you so much! Lisa@SwissPaleo
Hi, If you can afford it, sign up for the Whole30 daily news. I think it's like 14 dollars. You get an e-mail everyday with lots of great information and advice. They send you a day zero mail with tips on how to prepare. I've been eating this way for years now and found that being prepared and always having good food choices available was key. I also cleaned out my fridge and pantry and removed all temptation. Here is a look in my fridge http://swisspaleo.ch...inside-of-mine/ I also found that writing down everything I ate really helped in the beginning. Start reading paleo food blogs for great food inspiration. I've got recipes up at http://www.swisspaleo.ch (not all are whole 30 though) and http://www.nomnompaleo.com and http://www.theclothesmakethegirl.com/ are both excellent sites with tons of recipes. You are starting this at 19 so you are way ahead of the game. Wish I had started when I was that young! Good luck!
