Jennabeemeyer
Approximately how much protein are we to have at each meal? Is it the size of my palm or the size AND thickness? What would that translate into with chicken breast (one side of chicken)? Sorry if this has been addressed but I can't seem to find a search forum space. Moderators ShannonM816 Posted February 12, 2018 Moderators Share Posted February 12, 2018 One palm of protein is a piece of fish, chicken, beef, or other meat that is approximately the length, width, and height of the palm of your hand. We can't tell you exactly how much that will be in ounces or in pieces of chicken, as everyone's palm is different. Generally, you'll know you've gotten your meals about the right size if you are able to easily go 4-5 hours between meals without being hungry. For searching the forum, there is a search field, but you'll generally get the best results if you go to google and search Whole30 plus whatever you're looking for, or Whole30 forum plus whatever you're looking for -- in general, forum results should be on the first page of either of those searches.
