First time shopping

Hi everyone. I went shopping tonight to try and get ready for a start in the morning. I thought I had a good understanding of reading labels, but quickly realized I didnt and became overwhelmed. Is there a good resource/primer about how to read labels? I'm thinking I need some help and if I cant get label reading right, I'm probably just wasting my time.

Thanks

There are some downloads here that might help:  https://whole30.com/pdf-downloads/. Particularly the Sneaky Sugars List and the Common Additives Cheat Sheet. You can also Google Whole30 plus any particular ingredient you're not sure about and you'll probably find past discussions about it.

In general, it's easiest to mostly buy fresh or frozen meats and vegetables that don't have long ingredient lists, especially when you don't want to spend a huge amount of time at the store reading labels.
