Day 10 Check In

Just wanted to make sure that I'm doing alright! I'm not totally feeling the magic yet, but my IBS symptoms are already pretty much non-existent. Pretty amazing.

Breakfast is usually:

2 whole eggs in an omelet with veggies like mushrooms, spinach, zucchini, and onions

1-2 slices of bacon (sugar-free from Earth Fare meat counter)

a handful of blueberries

Lunch is usually:

Vegetable and Chicken soup.

w/ Either Vegetable or Chicken broth with assorted veggies and chicken-

veggies include: zucchini, onions, mushrooms, kale, green beans, celery, and carrots.

A hard-boiled egg

an apple

Snack is usually:

an apple- if I didn't have one already in the day

banana

hard-boiled egg

Lara Bar (rarely)

Dinner is where I have a little more fun:

meat, usually chicken, prepared with various seasonings (ex. lemon, ghee, capers, and chicken broth for piccata style & nom nom paleo's gravy)

a sweet potato (with ghee & cinnamon)

brussell sprouts, broccoli, okra, or zoodles (zucchini julienne style)

So far, my body is feeling:

- IBS symptoms greatly improved

- better energy throughout the day & generally sharper (until I started my period Sunday- but that always makes me tired and lethargic)

- Good sleep (9 hours), still having a hard time getting up (but I am not a morning person...YET!)

- better moods

- skin was clearing up (but the period monster reared it's ugly head and now it's breaking out)

- my acid stomach issues have not gone away, but I'm trying to cut back on the more acidic foods like tomatoes and anything too spicy or vinegary.

How does all of this look to you folks?
