candacevasko
I am planning on eating compliant the majority of the time, in theory - for forever. However, what are your thoughts on coconut sugar? I was on an organic foods website that included it as an ingredient and wondered if it was a devious as the other sugar counterparts are? Thanks! TheLazyCaveman
Coconut sugar is a no-no during the Whole30. Outside of the 30 though, it's no worse than regular sugar, though really, regular sugar isn't good for you either, so use it sparingly if at all. Johnny M
For official whole30, all sugars and sweeteners are out. If you choose to include some sugars in your diet ongoing, do so sparingly. Sugar is sugar and your body can't tell the difference where it's coming from even if natural is, in theory, better for you.
