Mbarney62
Just started Whole 30 (14 days in) - had routine physical, blood tests etc. Blood came back showing high potassium levels...not taking any meds, etc. Any ideas why this might be? Could it be diet related?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted March 16, 2013 Moderators Share Posted March 16, 2013 I doubt you can make your potassium "high" with diet even if you eat lots of foods high in potassium. What are foods high in potassium? Here is a list... http://www.healthaliciousness.com/articles/food-sources-of-potassium.php
Mbarney62
Your body doesn't produce potassium, but it can hold on to added potassium, so yes, potassium rich foods an be harmful.
