Derval
My local supermarket have them reduced to clear for only 39c (0.5 usd) for a bag of 3-4 small ones, they come in a bg you pop in the microwave which is very handy. I bought 4 packs (best before date is 29th) but Ic ould go back down & stock up if there was a way I could frreeze them. Any experience/ideas? Maybe I could cook, cube & freeze them in portions? 1Maryann
Yes, they freeze fine if cooked first, but bake or microwave, don't boil them. The extra water makes them funky when you freeze them. I usually mash them, but cubed should be fine.
Derval
Thanks maryann. I never boil them anyway , can imagine they get water logged.
