I've completed about 40 days of Whole30 eating and decided at lunch today that I would have a piece of bread. I don't know if it's the placebo/psychological effect but I immediately felt a slight burning sensation in my stomach and slight itching on my face. I don't think the bread is capable of digesting THAT quickly so it's probably psychological, but it's convinced me enough that bread is something that I no longer want to put into my body. Now if only I can undo what I just did because I'm afraid it might have woken some type of sugar dragon in me. I guess I'll use this feeling as a reminder to not put wheat in me when I start craving again.

This is major for me because I used to be hugely addicted to bread... At one point, I thought about changing careers and opening up my own bread shop (I used to bake my own).
