Hi everyone! So cool that there's a forum. I did my first Whole30 in Oct 2011 and had really great results.

Back then I only had one kid. Now I've got two (3.5 and 7mo), and am ready to get back on the wagon.

I'd love to connect with any mamas who are doing this while breastfeeding and also trying to get some food into a sometimes-picky 3.5yo. I'll check out the Kid forum below. I'm not going to force Whole30 on my preschooler but her diet is pretty close anyway, since she's allergic to dairy and we don't keep a lot of grains in the house.

I'm also a blogger and wrote about jumping in again:

Anyway, send me a message or something if you'd like to work through this together and I sound like your kind of people :)

Sounds like you've got your kiddos on the right track. Sarah Fragoso of everdaypaleo.com is like a guru in the area of paleo+kids. Good article here:

Her book, the Everday Paleo Family Cookbook is an outstanding resource and probably the biggest reason we just cancelled cable. ;-)

Anyhow, just another resource to put in your bookmarks folder. Good luck and kudos for starting them young!

Thanks @whitjm5! I just bought that book for my Kindle, actually, and you reminded me I should actually look through it when planning this week's meals. Do you recall whether most of her recipes are also Whole30 compliant? (I can figure it out, but just thought I'd ask.)

Many are. Tonight, I made awesome cauliflower rice (p. 194) and quick shrimp (front of book with the 15 quick meal ideas) that was awesome. And I've got the easy pulled pork (same section as quick shrimp) in the slow cooker. No difficult sauces to make. Just a dry rub that would be W30 compliant.

I actually feel like I've got this Paleo thing nailed down after a couple of weeks of doing it (no longer doing W30, but primal after reintroducing some stuff I should never have). Sugar dragon is taking last breaths. I just have no desire for the crap, anymore. :-)
