erinmm
Hi! I'm on day 23 of my whole30. I am currently 6 days late for my menstrual cycle, is this common?
sjosey77
Can't say I have had that problem yet since I have a couple of weeks to go, BUT I have heard before that if you change your diet severely that you can cause a disruption in your menstrual cycle. I have heard some have missed a cycle due to dietary changes. I would say if you don't start in the next couple of days, consult your doctor to make sure that everything is good. Stress can also delay it. Not that you are but if you feel like you are really late, it could add to it. Hope that helps.
melbournegirl
It's vey common to be late or early, depending on when in your cycle you start the whole30... Change in diet affects stress levels and inflammation levels and therefore hormone levels... I've done a number of whole30s and see a huge effect now even from changing just my caffeine levels
