sfbetht
Do you eat or avoid foods that - while otherwise Whole30 compliant - state that they are processed in a facility or on/near equipment that also processes soy, wheat, etc? I see this notation on a few Whole30-friendly sauces and condiments and am interested to hear your thoughts.
MeadowLily
I've been making my own sauces. Are you highly allergic to any of these items? If so, that would be a factor to consider.
sfbetht
I'm not allergic to anything (to my knowledge). I mostly have been making my own sauces, too, but a few convenience products have caught my eye on days where I haven't had as much time to prepare my own. wendelina
I think that's just a legal disclaimer. I think the mods here have said that you can have things with that on them, as long as none of the bad/off-plan ingredients are in the actual ingredients list. Jinkse21
Labels that say the food is manufactured/packaged in factories with other products like peanuts, wheat, etc. are legal disclaimers that especially affect people who are highly sensitive to those products. As long as the ingredients do not list the forbidden items, you are fine.
