Colon cleanse

Recommended Posts

We really don't recommend doing something like this at the same time as while you're on a Whole30.  Typically a colon cleanse would require liquid foods only/primarily and we want you to eat/chew whole food.

I would suggest completing your Whole30, doing your reintroductions, and then at that point deciding whether to then embark on a colon cleanse.

No ... just no on a Whole30. There is no reason for using this type of product during this process.

Really: do a Whole30 first, and then revisit afterward whether a colon cleanse is something you want to take on.

If you have constipation, the real solution is to find the cause and treat it and prevent it.

A lot of people find coconut oil and magnesium to be helpful, as well as eating less raw food.

For general awareness, some people can get serious internal damage from senna leaf, as well as some medical conditions specifically contraindicating it (it can put some people in hospital). You should talk to your doctor before taking stuff like this (especially this brand, which Walgreens provides a warning on, there's a lot of ingredients in that which come with their own warnings).

Just in case anyone thinks these are a miracle weight loss thing, they just clear you out (like gastro). Weight loss from these isn't real, it's a con job.
