TeagansMommy
I'm on day 14 of rocking my Whole 30 and have to go for a PET/CT scan next week? Is being injected with the radionuclide going to mess everything up? I'll start over if I have to, just not sure what to do.
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted April 16, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 16, 2016 You probably won't feel good after... injecting foreign substances will do that, but it doesn't affect your Whole30 as far as the rules go... you may want to assess how you feel on Day 30 and consider keeping going for another week or so to really feel your best.... Good luck with your scan!
TeagansMommy
Thanks so much! I am probably going to keep going and do a Whole 60 just because I love this way of eating and love how I feel.
Chellesdoingr8
I am going for an MRI on May 2nd and will be injected with a contrast medium. This will help my abdomen "glow in the dark." Since I have been eating well, on the Whole30, I am confident I will have "rave reviews." I am a Crohn's Disease survivor, and they haven't looked at my bowels in years. Hence, the test. I don't consider the contrast medium Whole30 compliant and/or not. It is something that needs to be done so I can move forward. It's all good. I wish you luck on your scan.
