Daisy Carrington
I haven't weighed myself in years, besides about 2 weeks ago when I was thinking of beginning a modified Whole30. I weighed myself tonight. Oops. Do I need to start over at day one?
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted May 29, 2016 Moderators Share Posted May 29, 2016 Here's the official how to decide if you need to start over article. I'd ask, why did you weigh yourself? That's not a thing you can do accidentally, so you must have had a reason. I don't know that there's really a good reason to knowingly break one of the rules of the program, but I do think that knowing why you did might help you to avoid it in the future. TheLadyD
I am right with you, Daisy. I have not weighed myself in forever, but on the Whole30 I cannot stop thinking about getting on the scale. I just want some external feedback. Something more sciency than how I feel, maybe? However, I wear one of those fitness wristbands, so I can tell you my resting heart rate has steadily gone down over the two weeks I've been doing the Whole30, and that has satisfied my apparent need for evidence that something is changing. For now.
QuilterInVA
The scale is as far from sciency as you can get. It's totally useless in measuring progress with the W30. This isn't a weight loss plan. Weight loss may occur but it is just a side point.
