  1. Good Luck to all of you! This is a great place to come for support and encouragement. Just take your Whole30's one day at a time and enjoy the journey. You got this!
  2. Congrats @Amada Grace! So glad you are here. I am so proud of you for quitting smoking and vaping (and alcohol!). I quit smoking 7 years ago and I know how hard it is. Stay strong and pay attention to how much better you feel little by little every single day you get further away from the nicotine and the addiction. I think that doing a Whole30 now is going to be a great experience for you. You are already changing a lot you might as well go for it and change the way you eat too! Let me know if you need any help! You will find great resources here and on Instagram so make sure you check it all
  3. Hi @JessFind and @Prairie Dawn, First let me say welcome and congratulations for doing something so very good for yourselves. I know that although challenging, Whole30 can be done no matter what. I myself have made it through all kinds of temptations during my multiple rounds. I would say try to stay away from the baking but clearly that's not an option for you Jess. I know you can get thru anything for a month and it sounds like you have a supportive husband which is so awesome. Can't wait to hear how it goes for you guys as we roll on into a super healthy September! Cheers!
  4. When you say you are going to make something that sounds really good and your family say... wait... is it the real version or like the Whole30 one?
  5. Woo Hoo! Good for you! September Whole30 is such an awesome way to get yourself on a good path to head into the holiday season. I am sure you will find tons of support and encouragement! Good luck to you!
  6. Welcome @Sam Hindmarsh! Glad to hear you are giving it another try. Sounds like you are in the right frame of mind and prepared to set yourself up for success. You will find a lot of great support here and like the above poster said, a TON of resources via Instagram. Let us know how we can support you! Best of Luck! Amy
  7. Hi @Tara_S_M! Sorry you are feeling kind of crappy this week!! At first glance I would ask how much are you eating? I can not tell your portion sizes but eating too little, even really clean and healthy, is going to make you feel tired. The other thing that jumps out to me is a lack of fat. Again, you didn't include portion sizes so I can't be sure but if I were coaching you I would advise to add a little more in at every meal and see if it helps... 1/2 an avocado, a spoonful or two of nut butter or some olives or seeds. I like home made pesto as an option mixed with potatoes or vegg
  8. First of all... Congratulations for taking this step toward healthier eating and lifestyle. Once you make up your mind and commit you have made a huge step and you should be proud! You have come to a great place for support. I encourage you to get involved here, you will find a ton of support, tips, advice and friends. I also highly recommend getting on Instagram and following all of the Whole30 accounts and hashtags. There is soooo much information out there. Take full advantage of it. You are going to have a great Whole30, welcome to the community! Let us know if you need help! Happy Whole30
  9. I hear you! That is a tough habit to break. Try not to focus too much on portion size right now. Get used to the new way that you are eating and you can refine how much as you go. I tell my coaching clients that I want you to feel satisfied, that's the main thing in the beginning because it's hard to eliminate all of these things at once. I get it. Although snacking is not something you want to become an all day long habit, in the beginning you might need a little extra here and there until you figure it out. We don't want you to fall asleep at you desk after lunch lol. Don't be hungry! Good j
  10. YESSSSSS! You CAN absolutely do this! Congratulations on taking the first step, finding a partner and doing some serious planning. Sounds like you are already moving in the right direction! Please reach out to the community, we have a wealth of great resources and awesome camaraderie within this group! Best of luck, you are going to crush it
  11. Hi @CathyNO325! I hope you made it thru the week! I just wanted to see if I could help you out with a few on the go food ideas. I am not opposed to cold lunch so I often pack things that don't need microwaving and they are perfect for days when I am on the road too. I know you said no cold cuts but have you seen Danielle Walker's #aagwhich? Check out the hashtag on IG. You could fill that with absolutely anything, add Whole30 mayo, mustard or whatever compliant sauce you prefer and have a great car meal. I love chomps sticks, almond butter packets, Costco organic hard boiled eggs that com
  12. Hi There! How is your reintroduction going? Have any questions we can help with?
  13. Hi Janice! Congratulations on starting your Whole30! How was your first week?
  14. Hi Sarah, I totally understand your fear and it is pretty common to feel that way if you are used to weighing yourself a lot. My best advice to you is to try not to focus on the idea of weight loss/gain. Many people experience fluctuations during Whole30 and that is totally normal. It will take the 30 days for your body to really get adjusted to living without the things it is used to. By the same token it will take your brain a minute to adjust to not looking at the scale every day! If you can try to focus on how YOU feel every day and what you are noticing that is different. Spend some
  15. Welcome Strawberry! I always combine meal prep and laundry on the weekends. Having all the things organized and in place, not just food, is a great way to motivate me at the start of a new week!
