Rachel923
Hi all, I apologize in advance if this post is redundant. I did a search and couldn't come up with anything on this topic. I went food shopping for my first Whole 30 the other day, and I had a really hard time finding compliant stocks/broths. I know it is ideal to make your own, but I'm pressed for time. The best one I could find was the Rachael Ray brand, which was also recommended as compliant by a friend. However, I noticed yeast in the ingredients, and I am not sure if this is okay. Help! Moderators Tom Denham Posted June 30, 2013 Moderators Share Posted June 30, 2013 Yeast is okay, so if that is the only questionable ingredient, you are fine. Finding compliant broth is difficult. Some varieties of the Imagine brand sold at Whole Foods are compliant.
Guest
Just it simply say "yeast" or yeast extract or autolyzed yeast? The last two are code words for MSG.. http://www.truthinlabeling.org/hiddensources.html
