megster2889
In my haste of extreme hunger this morning, on day three...I grabbed some dried blueberries which I thought, hey dried fruit, ok...as I was making breakfast I then thought to check the label. Ingridients were: blueberries, SUGAR, natural flavors. I am so extremely upset right now!! I didn't think there would be sugar since they are naturally sweet, does this mean I've failed and should start again??
GFChris
More often than not, unless you buy dried fruit at a specialty health food store, dried fruit is coated in sugar. IMO, I say hide those blueberries until after your Whole30, continue with where you're at, and chalk it up to a lesson-learned on the importance of reading every single label before you eat what's inside. megster2889
Thanks, I was kind of getting down on myself but I'm doing great otherwise so I'd hate to throw it all away for one little mistake! Even though I know I still can't say I did it 100% bc of that, but lesson learned!
HealthyForPNG
I ran into the same thing with dried dates. "dates, dextrose" - lesson learned! But it was very frustrating.
