Vian Posted July 14, 2013 Share Posted July 14, 2013 If you are doing the autoimmune protocol, you want to avoid nightshades, including paprika, cayenne, and chili powder (and other peppers, tomatoes, eggplant) But a regular whole30 does not restrict spices and herbs so long as there are no preservatives, corn starch, soy or sugar added Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
