kindergartencowgirl
What is the most common culprit of inflammation? I had a successful Whole 30 in June, but was not able to overcome a consistent pain in my right arm / shoulder / elbow. It feels like joint issues sometimes and other times muscle. Would eliminating nuts be a good idea?
Bet
Hi, you should try the AI protocol. That eliminates eggs, nuts and seeds, nightshade veggies and some other things. I started last week and in 5 days noticed diminished pain in my elbow (tendinitis). Now it's almost 90% gone.
Bethann67
The most common culprit is .... Injury or disease ( arthritis, tendinitis etc.) I have severe arthritis of humeral and AC joint, partially torn rotator cuff and tendonitis and bursitis (due to the arthritis) and whole 30 has helped dramatically...pain is very low, off the hard drugs, Sleep not disrupted, but my ROM is still... limited, and the underlying problems are still there. I did a nut free whole 30 ....and when I started snacking on them again, I did not feel very good. ( digestive symptoms) and have figured out that less is more ( a few hazelnuts sprinkled on a salad opposed to even a handful of pistachios , is better for me)
