Robin B
I searched, but couldn't find anything on glycerine. I'm starting Whole 30 in a couple of days, and going through what I regularly eat to determine what's compliant and not compliant. I take a liquid L-Carnitine supplement that contains the following (in addition to the L-Carnitine itself, which is meat-derived): Purified Water, Vegetable Glycerin, Potassium Sorbate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben I'm unsure about some of the additives, so I thought I'd ask for help/opinions here. Thanks in advance!
Moderators Tom Denham Posted September 5, 2013 Moderators Share Posted September 5, 2013 Glycerin is sugar alcohol, so that makes it something to avoid during a Whole30.
Robin B
Boo. That's what I was afraid of--thanks very much for the clarification (was unsure if glycerIN was the same as glycerOL).
