Snacks are not a normal part of this style of eating. If you get hungry between meals, it is a signal to eat more at meals or to add a fourth meal so that you will not need snacks. When you get hungry between meals, we encourage you to eat a mini-meal - protein, fat, and veggie.

How about tuna salad - tuna, avocado, lemon juice, s&p/spices, celery or other veg all mixed together.  Or mini meatloaf muffins made with ground meat, shredded veg and coconut oil for fat?  You could make them and freeze them to have for an easy snack (aka minimeal).

 

Can you order jerkey online if you want something to have on hand just in case?
