Tina R
Mine is very basic. Brown 1 lb stew meat (dry it first) in compliant oil or Ghee. Put the brown meat in a crock pot, add 1 Rutabaga or turnip, chopped, 1 carrot chopped, 1/2 onion chopped, 1 stalk celery chopped. Add 2 cups compliant beef broth or chicken broth if you can't find beef just to cover the meat. Add 1/2 tsp parsley, 1/2 tsp rosemary, 1/4 tsp pepper. Cook on low 5 - 6 hours. If you want to do this on the stove brown the meat and then add the broth and cook on medium low for 1 hour. Add the vegetables and spices and cook for about 2 hours more until meat is tender. You may have to add more water or broth if you cook it on the stove. Enjoy
