Day 13 Nausea

Recommended Posts

I'm on Day 13 and have pretty much sailed through the low-carb flu, anger etc.  Yesterday I started feeling really dizzy and queasy and this has continued today with the screen actually rolling before my eyes as I type.  I feel like I could vomit at any minute.  It feels very much like motion sickness.

Is this common?  Am I doing something wrong?  This is what I ate the last 2 days:

B - coffee with coconut oil and egg, blended.  Pork stuffing balls, avocado and salad.

L - chicken soup with loads of veg

D - chicken in a tomato / paprika sauce with nom nom's root mash and spinach

B - coffee with coconut oil and egg.  Pork stuffing balls (needed to be used up), avocado and salad.

L - bacon and boiled eggs, tomatoes and salad, mayo.

Any clues?  I'm also drinking at least 2 litres of water per day and I salt my food well (plus have salt in my water).

I wonder if you're eating enough - hard to tell the portion sizes of your meals.

Each of your meals should meet the template of 1-2 palms of protein, 1-3 cups of vegetables, and an appropriate compliant fat.

I'm not sure if you're getting any carb-dense vegetables. I would make sure you're getting them in at least one of your daily meals. These include sweet potatoes, winter squash, beets, carrots, jicama, plantains, rutabaga and parsnips.

Are you getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night?

Side note: confirm your bacon is compliant: no sugar or other nasties.

Yes, my meals are "The Plate" compliant and portion size is adequate - I'm never hungry.

I have a carb-dense vegetable most days (not all) but the past 3 days I've had the root mash which contains parsnips and carrots.  I'm UK based so I struggle to get some of those veg that you have mentioned, but I nearly always have either sweet potato, squash or parsnips.

I'm getting nearly 9 hours of sleep a night!

My bacon is absolutely W30 compliant - either my from specialist butcher or the Denhay brand.

I'm conscious that this could be a stomach bug and I don't want to waste your time.  I was curious to see if this is a common side effect of W30 at this stage but I'm guessing not?  Thank you for your help.
