AmyRS
Hello! I am on Day 19 today and so far have followed the timeline almost exactly except the last few days I have been feeling bloated and much like I did on days 8-9....I haven't changed anything in my diet, have been snacking on nuts the whole way through. Is this normal? Should I consider cutting back on my fruit and nut consumption?Loving the journey but would appreciate some words of wisdom! Moderators Tom Denham Posted March 19, 2014 Moderators Share Posted March 19, 2014 Nuts cause many people problems, so eliminating nuts for the rest of your Whole30 is an excellent idea. Fruit should be limited to one or two fist-sized servings per day and eliminating fruit in favor of vegetables is always a good choice.
CRCBN
I have found that when I eat alot of cruciferous veggies or onions I end up bloated; not just my tummy, my fingers and ankles too. It goes away pretty quickly if I avoid things like broccoli, cabbage and onions for a few days. Nuts can make my tummy feel bloated too unless I limit them.
