sweetrunning
Hi all, I don't think people want to believe my food allergies, my mom keeps saying it's spring allergies. I don't believe so as I get allergy shots for that and have for 3 years. I don't even sneeze any more because the allergy shots worked so well. Like for example I had a dairy reaction 24 hours after dairy with itchy throat and runny stuffy nose. She said it's spring allergies. But them why do these reactions only happen right after I reintroduce food and not any other days? I think people don't want to believe I'm feeling so much better for a reason and some foods are likely to be the culprit- they are. Sorry this is radical for most people so I totally understand their thinking too. It was radical for me before I tried it.
Bet
Food intolerances are certainly real. Dairy can cause congestion and it some people could cause itching. If this happens to you, I'd avoid dairy.
missmary
I used to think I had environmental allergies, but I had them all year round. Now I only have these allergy symptoms during leaf mold season. I now know those sniffly/sneezy reactions were related to wheat/gluten or dairy not leaves or pollen. sweetrunning
Right me too- sniffling is gone usually and happens all year. I did have one tsp of honey in the yogurt but I really don't think they made the difference.
