But then there is a disclaimer that the product may contain milk, wheat, or soy. Assuming it's based on where it is packaged. Thoughts? I couldn't find any info that addressed this. You're right: language like that is due to where it's manufactured/packaged. That language is on there for folks with extreme food allergies and cannot risk cross-contamination of milk, wheat or soy. Like Chris said, legally they have to write that if any products containing those ingredients are made in their location. It's a liability issue.
