May contain milk, wheat, soy...

Question about some spices. The ingredients are all compliant. But then there is a disclaimer that the product may contain milk, wheat, or soy. Assuming it's based on where it is packaged. Thoughts? I couldn't find any info that addressed this.

If it's not in the ingredients list, from a Whole30 perspective, you're fine.

You're right: language like that is due to where it's manufactured/packaged. That language is on there for folks with extreme food allergies and cannot risk cross-contamination of milk, wheat or soy.

Like Chris said, legally they have to write that if any products containing those ingredients are made in their location.  It's a liability issue.
