emotional chaos

My friend and I are doing the whole 30 together sort of.  I am on day 12 and she is on day 9.  She has been very weepy and emotional which is so not like her.  Any thoughts on why that would be happening?

If she goes too low carb, that could impact her emotions (especially if it's around that time of the month).  Make sure she's getting a good dose of carb-dense vegetables daily. Possibilities include sweet potato, winter squash, jicama, beets, carrots, parsnips, rutabaga, and plantains.
