Polina
Hello! I realise that there`s may be no necessity of posting a new topic, but i can`t understand whether it is possible to eat green buckwheat - not flour , but beans. It seems to me that in the book it was in approved products - as green beans, but as a look through topics I found that it is profibited product , like flour , for example. Please, explain me that point. Thank you!
Moderators Tom Denham Posted September 22, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 22, 2014 Green buckwheat is classified as a pseudo-cereal for the purposes of a Whole30 and not allowed whether technically viewed as a grain or seed. The category of legumes are out during a Whole30, but an exception is made for green beans because they are more pod than bean. Basically, the problems stem from the bean, not the pod. so green beans were given an okay to encourage participants by making a familiar food available.
