AVSmaller2014
Today is day 1 of my second Whole30. I was a good girl, and did a fairly decent cook-up yesterday. It only took around 4 hours, which I thought was pretty good. I still have more veggies that I need to cook, but I'm feeling positive about this reset. I weighed myself this morning, and saw a whopping 248 pounds on the scale. This is so necessary. Please forgive me as I figure out the best way to share pics. I'm still learning. AVSmaller2014
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS on the upcoming addition to your family. How exciting! I'm hoping to get pregnant within the next few months, so it will be nice to hear how you do being preggers and on Whole30. Thanks for the inspiration. I think I made the "egg cupcakes" last time, but I'd totally forgotten about them. That's a great way to prep Meal 1 in advance and just heat up.The cabbage is SOOOO GOOOOD! Somehow, it comes out with an almost meaty flavor.
Ladycop79
:D Hehehehe, I posted that long thing not realizing that it was your Food Log not a community thread! (Sorry- new here!) I deleted most of it Thanks! I haven't told anyone in the real world yet - We have 3 kiddos already so an "oopsie" will be a fun caboose for our family train! AVSmaller2014
And it's DAY 2! Last night, I had a yummy salad. This morning, I got up and brought my goodies to work with me. It really does help cooking a bunch of stuff in advance and putting it into smaller individual containers. That way, I can grab a little of this and a little of that without planning out my entire week in advance. This works with my weird brain. For Meal 1 today, I had tilapia, grapes, and a brussels sprouts and bacon mixture. Super tasty, if I do say so myself. Here's to a successful second day!
