sfbetht
My Whole30 ends this week, but four days later I am traveling to Hawaii. I want to follow reintro as best I can, but my usual travel foods are portable, unrefrigerated items that don't need to be heated - like sandwiches. Ideas for travel friendly meals to get me through the day? I'm already planning on bringing boiled eggs, fruit, some cooked bacon and chicken - maybe a kale salad dressed with just oil and lemon juice? leahcarn
Salad, and I really like cold roast veges. I normally take coconut butter as fat because its solid so you can cut it into bars. But it may not stay solid in Hawaii, so maybe nuts to go on tour salad etc? And dressings of course.
ginsinnot
My new favorite to-go food: meatballs. I make a breakfast meatball by shredding a sweet potato, dicing onion and mushroom, and mushing it all into a pound of ground pork. Cook for about 30 minutes at 375. This was my go-to food on a recent road trip from Michigan to Virginia. Loved it.
