Elayne39
My doctor prescribed a daily dose of Miralax for certain "issues" related to my bowel function. Is that okay for Whole 30 or am I better off going off it for the month? Will it affect the gut/flora repair process?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted September 29, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 29, 2014 You can follow your doctor's instructions as you begin a Whole30. I am confident that you are not broken and in need of medication all your life. I bet you could come off the medication after you have gotten into the habit of eating Whole30-style and drinking 1/2 ounce of water per pound of body weight per day. Elayne39
I hope you are right, but I have had this since I was a child (and it runs in the family as I have discovered....don't ask...weird family talk happens at reunions). But never say never!
