ddjohns83
I have a good London Broil in the freezer and I'm wanting to do something other than cooking it as a roast. Any suggestions?
TheRealAndra
Marinate it, grill it and thinly slice it across the grain. Serve it with chimichurri. Epicurious recipe, just swap the Worcester and soy sauces for coco aminos.

ddjohns83
homemade jerky I would love to make homemade jerky. Never done it and I don't have a dehydrator. Do I have to have one?

No , I just made some as a gift for a friend yesterday ...you just cook it on racks in a very low oven.
Tiffany Precissi
That is the perfect cut for jerky! I keep looking for it but have yet to find it.
Susan W
That is the perfect cut for jerky! I keep looking for it but have yet to find it. Tiffany, London Broil is actually a method of cooking and not a cut of meat. However, most good butchers will give you a Top Round roast (not steak) when you ask for it, so you could simply request that from your butcher. Some will suggest a flank steak for that method of cooking, but for me, London Broil means top round and I love it for beef jerky. I did invest in a dehydrator and I am SO glad I did. I use it for zucchini chips and kale chips too.
