Jalopy
I've started drinking this to help alkalize my stomach. I have Barrett's esophagus. Is it compliant? I plan on starting another Whole30 on February 1. Ingredients are: Wheatgrass, Barley grass & Alfalfa grass Spirulina & Chlorella Mesquite, Vanilla & Cinnamon USDA Organic (I realize that vanilla extract is not compliant but perhaps because they say "vanilla", they use just the bean?) I don't use this in smoothies or as a meal replacement. It's just mixed in water and I drink it first thing in the morning. Thank you for any help! Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 26, 2015 Eating veggies is far superior to drying them, crushing them into a powder, storing them in a bag for months, and then mixing them with water to drink the reconstituted juice. Far superior, no matter how convincing the marketing people selling them to you sound. However, this food product is technically compliant with the Whole30. You can drink it and still be doing a Whole30.
Jalopy
Wow, Tom, I didn't ask for a lecture on why I should eat my veggies. Just whether the product is compliant. A simple yes or no would've sufficed.
