Hannah Saro
So, I have not started yet, but I am starting one Monday 2/9 with the Whole30. My only concern is that I am on quite a few medications, some of which I can stop for the thirty days, some which I cannot. Anyone have experience with this? My medications are for migraines, anxiety and GI issues.
GFChris
Prescriptions trump Whole30. Don't alter any of your medications without consulting with your doctor.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted February 6, 2015 Administrators Share Posted February 6, 2015 Prescriptions and doctor's orders always trump Whole30. That said, you might have medications that have some non-compliant ingredients in them which could impact the turnout of your Whole30 to some degree. Maybe ask your doctor or pharmacist if there are alternate options but if not, just know that doing the Whole30 even with your medications is miles ahead of no Whole30 at all....and who knows, maybe down the road some of those medications won't even be needed! SusanInPhoenix
You might want to research/Google natural cures like vitamins, minerals, meditation, etc. Maybe not to stop your medications, but to supplement them. Susan
