Sami_Rae
I know that you are no supposed to drink fruit juice just by itself as a beverage. However, I am wondering if you are allowed to mix a small amount with some water to give it a little flavor once in a while. I drink water plain frequently, but sometimes I would like to change it up with lunch or dinner. I read the book and know about using juice in cooking. Would it be better to stick with herbal teas instead, or infuse my own water with fruit?
Sami_Rae
I am sure this may have been asked before, but I could not find a post saying if this was okay or not.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted March 18, 2015 Administrators Share Posted March 18, 2015 Yes, you can add a "splash" of fruit juice to your water to make a flavoured water. Just watch how much you're using and make sure whatever juice you choose doesn't have any noncompliant ingredients in it.
Maggiedoll
You can add it to sparkling water, too! (I love the "Simply Orange," especially the "with mango" and "with pineapple" versions.) Fabulous in a wine glass with dinner.
