Other Whole30 foods that will help you conquer your sadness over black beans? ;)

 

Or that will replace black beans in your diet?  You can sub starchy veggies to get the carbs that the black beans give you; sweet potato, rutabaga, turnip, carrots, beets etc.

I'm a bean-lover too. I have been adding things that add texture like water chestnuts and chopped cashews and have really enjoyed it.  They're not direct nutrition correlates, but for me beans add texture to things and I miss that.
