Administrators ladyshanny Posted April 24, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 24, 2015 Hi Gichache, Unfortunately edammame is a soy bean and soy can be highly disruptive. Read this article and you tell us what you should do. http://whole30.com/2014/06/really-start-whole30/
Gichache
ok.. wow thank you I guess I will call it whole35 and continue for an additional 5 days .. starting over is just too harsh and cant bear that emotionally. one other question, do people typically lose weight on this program? Thats one of my primary goals on going on this program.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted April 24, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 24, 2015 Depending on what your intake was like previously, moving towards a whole foods intake with 3 meals a day and eliminated snacking, folks that have weight to lose do tend to see it start to drop off, yes. It really depends on what your pre-Whole30 life was like, how much weight you actually have to lose (vs how much you wish to lose, sometimes those are different!) and what other healing might be going on in your body at the same time. If you have a lot of internal healing to get through, your body may prioritize that over dropping weight, initially.
