architri
I'm currently training for a half Ironman in September, and started Whole 30 this week. I've read several blogs and they recommend sweet potatoes and the like for carbs. Being from Brazil, we're used to eating a lot of cassava and manioc flour (derived from cassava) with our stews. Are either allowed on Whole 30? Thanks!
missmary
personally, I would stick with the vegetable form rather than the flour, but technically cassava flour is ok so long as it is not used to create some sort of baked good, pancake or bread. architri
Thank you missmary! Typically we just put a tablespoon of the flour (toasted) under the stew. But I'll probably just stick to the full thing for variety.
