Shawie
Your pictures look beautiful! What camera is it? Thank you! For most of my pictures I use my Canon Rebel SL1. On occasions where I have to eat on the go I use my mobile phone which is Blackberry Passport.

ama.chi203sm
Thanks for the pictures! It has inspired me to do that too with my own journal. I agree with you that keeping track of everything I eat is work. I already have to do a lot of writing because I am a teacher. Quick question: How long does it take you to make your breakfasts? I will be working out before heading to work, so I plan on cooking my breakfasts ahead of time so I can just reheat them in the morning in the microwave. It takes me less than 15 minutes to prepare my meal 1. (Less time if I'm eating leftovers.) You will be amazed how easy preparing "breakfasts" are when you start looking at your meals as "Meal 1", "Meal 2", and "Meal 3." I'm really happy to hear that my pictures inspired you - taking photos is so much easier than writing in a notebook or phone APP. It takes literally 3 seconds to snap a picture and check to see if it's good in the preview. lol
awhitting
Hi Shawie; This is a great post. Thank you very much. I was not aware there was a soy substitute. I have been catching and giving away tuna for the past three weeks because I could not eat sashimi without soy nor poke either. Poke is still out because of the sesamee oil. Wasabi, seems the green stuff has tapioca starch. The real grated seems expensive http://www.realwasabi.com/, but since I catch tuna it will be worth it on my next W30. Saludos Art

Saludos Art I think it's amazing that you are able to catch your own fish! You can't get anymore fresher than that. Yes coconut aminos are a good alternative to Soy Sauce - it isn't the same though (sweeter taste) so don't expect that. My last sushi outing with my hubby I had forgotten my coconut aminos at home so I just to opt in for salt. lol

Just FYI, sesame oil is okay to have. It's not the greatest fat source out there, so don't go crazy with it, and you shouldn't cook with it because it doesn't hold up to heat well, but using a drizzle of it over your food for flavor is fine.
