KaraSW
These are the ingredients in my unsweetened Silk Almond milk: Filtered water, almonds, sea salt, natural flavor, bean gum, sunflower letithn, gellan gum. Anything raising a red flag? (i.e Is it compliant? That bean gum is a question mark for me.) Thanks for your patience. Just started today. Want to do this right. missmary
you can have that one. that said, remember that almond milk is not a nutritional powerhouse, and there really isn't a need for "milk" in an adult human diet. It's fine if you want to use it to lighten your coffee but I wouldn't recommend drinking it by the glass. personally, when I stopped having smoothies I stopped bothering with almond milk. KaraSW
Thanks - agreed, this would be for a coffee splash! (Tried coconut milk in my coffee this morning - don't love it - perhaps an acquired taste....)
goodgirlgonered
Oh, yay! Thank you for this! I am starting today and was hoping to find out if this was okay - I even took a picture of my label in the fridge. I wanted it for coffee, too. Not all the time, but on the days I'm really craving coffee, because honestly, I think it's the visual aspect that makes me need something in it to *lighten* it just a drop!
